LG 55LH85 LCD HDTV First Impressions Review
Like the top of the line LHX the 55LH85 sports Wireless HD features, allowing you to keep the cable clutter away from the back of your HDTV but lacks some other features.
LG 42LH50 LCD HDTV First Impressions Review
The LH50 line features LG's new NetCast online streaming service. This includes access to Amazon's Video on Demand Service, Youtube and Yahoo Widgets.
   
LG 60PS80 Plasma HDTV First Impressions Review
LG's 60PS80 is at the top of their new line of Plasma televisions featuring their NetCast service. Netcast gives users to a variety of online features via a direct ethernet connection. Featured are Netflix streaming and Yahoo Widgets.
LG 60PS60 Plasma HDTV First Impressions Review
LG's 60PS60 is remarkably similar to its big sibling the 60PS80. There are a few omissions, however, including internet access via Netcast and the Media Director Feature for automatically adjusting video and audio features.
   
LG 42LH20 LCD HDTV First Impressions Review
The LG 42LH20 is one of LG's lower-end 720p sets. We expect this range will be available for a more comfortable price than the higher-end LG models with full 1080p resolution and other extras like internet connectivity and 240Hz refresh rate. It does retain the striking styling of LG's other TVs, however.

Panasonic Viera TC-P54Z1 Plasma HDTV First Impressions Review
Panasonic's TC-P54Z1 is at the top of their new line of Plasma HDTVs. It's most interesting features is Wireless HD, which obviates the need for cords coming out the back of the TV.
Panasonic Viera TC-P54G10 Plasma HDTV First Impressions Review
Being twice as thick as the Z1 means the P54G10 is only two inches thick. It also supports streaming Amazon Video on Demand.
   
Panasonic Viera TC-P65V10 Plasma HDTV First Impressions Review
Like many of the HDTVs released by Panasonic this year the P65V10 is thin, at only 2 inches, and it supports streaming internet video from services like Amazon.
Panasonic Viera TC-L37X1 LCD HDTV First Impressions Review
The TC-L37X1 is lower in Panasonic's range of HDTVs, as denoted by the 720p resolutiona s compared to 1080p on most other models. It does include an interesting iPod connector, however.

Samsung's Luxia line of LCD televisions sit near the top of their lineup and it shows. The ultra-slim design LED backlight, 240Hz refresh rate all scream high-end. How high end we don't know as the price for the HDTV has not yet been released.
Samsung PN58B850 LCD HDTV First Impressions Review
The flagship of Samsung's new Plasma HDTVs the PN58B850 proves thin is in with Samsung claiming the 1.19 inch thick HDTV is the thinnest Plasma on the planet.
   
Samsung UN55B7000 LCD HDTV First Impressions Review
The 7000 Series of Samsung's new Luxia brand of HDTVs may lack some of the features of the 8000 line like 240Hz refresh, but they still sport LED backlighting and are very thin.

Sharp Aquos LC-52XS1U-S LCD HDTV First Impressions Review
Sharp's Limited Edition lineup was announced late last year, but it still packs a whallop with a thin profile, 120Hz refresh rate and stylish looks. The price point also packs a whallop at $12,000.
Sharp Aquos LC-52BD80U LCD HDTV First Impressions Review
Sharp is featuring a new line of Blue-ray equiped HDTVs this year and the LC-52XS1U-S is amongs the biggest of this new line, featuring a full 1080p resolution and 120Hz refresh rate.
   
Sharp LC-65E77U LCD HDTV First Impressions Review
The LC-65E77U is big, 65-inches big. You're going to pay for that size, however, as the price comes in at $4,499, almost twice as much as the 52-inch model. You will get a full 1080p resolution on that big display, however, and 120Hz refresh rate for improved motion.
Sharp LC-46E77U LCD HDTV First Impressions Review
The LC-46E77U is very similar to its big brother the 65E77U, but has a more modest 46-inch display. It does still sport 120Hz refresh rate, however, as well as the same connectivity options. At almost half the price we're sure it will be more attractive to those on a budget.

The Braviia KDL-46XBR9 is one of Sony's high-end HDTVs with 240Hz refresh rate for improved motion and internet connectivity with Amazon Video on Demand and Youtube.
Sony Bravia KDL-40Z5100 LCD HDTV First Impressions Review
The 40Z5100 isn't at the top of Sony's lineup but still sports a 240Hz refresh rate and Amazon Video on Demand.

The Bravia KDL-32L5000 is part of Sony's series of smaller HDTVs at only 32 inches. It also drops the resolution to 720p.
 
Sony Bravia KDL-40V5100 LCD HDTV First Impressions Review
The KDL-40V5100 drops the refresh rate to 120Hz from 240Hz from higher-end televisions released this year. It also lacks the internet connectivity features of higher-end Sony televisions. It does still support media playback via USB, however.

The KDL-40S5100 lacks the high-end refresh rates and LED backlights found on other Sony models, but it does still provide a full 1080p resolution. Our big question is whether the price will fall commesurately with the lack of features compared to higher-end models.

The KLV-40ZX1M is stylish, and offers some high-end features like LED backlighting. The thing that concerns us is the necessity to buy an additional box for up to $800 if you want more than 1 HDMI port.
Sony XEL-1 OLED HDTV First Impressions Review
The only OLED television available for purchase the XEL-1 has a modest screen size (11 inches), only two HDMI inputs and a price of $2500. We're not sure who's going to buy it, but at least Sony has the distinction of being unique.
