Conclusion

LG 37LH30

The LG 37LH30 wasn't bad. It didn't have a great black level or, by extension, a good contrast ratio. It did pretty well on our color accuracy tests. The TV also doesn't have any additional features worth noting. Moving objects either blurred or shuddered somewhat, and the TV had a very, very poor viewing angle. Most of these downsides are to be expected on a lower-end TV, but the 37LH30's price tag of $950 puts it in a category it can't really compete in. If you can find this TV on sale, it'll make for a solid lower-end TV. Otherwise, you can get a much better TV for your grand.
