Really strong motion results
Generally great color performance
Plenty of ports, both new and old
Poor viewing angle
Introduction
This LG 47LK520 ($899 MSRP) is a large-paneled 1080p television with a focus on motion processing, and the addition of a widely capable USB media port. There are no internet or 3D features on this device, leaving a very basic television for those who want out of these unproven television technologies. In terms of performance, everything tested well, as you will see in the review, but is above-average really your type? Are you looking for adequate, or top-quality?
Editorial Note: This is a review of the LG 47LK520. Test results are for this model, but should indicate the general performance of other sizes in the xxLK520 series. The xxLK520 series includes the following models: 42LK520, 47LK520 and 55LK520. Read here for more details on series differences.
