Power Consumption

The power draw on the LG 47LK520 is a little high for what it does. No internet or 3D features mean it does not need as strong of a processor, yet it's pulling $36.96 out of the wall yearly with our calibration settings. Knocking the backlight down a little until it's outputting at 200 cd/m2, the 47LK520 is more of a guzzler than any of the models in the comparison below. Realistically, less than $40 a year to operate is not a limiting cost, but relatively, it's not great.
