Great color performance
Excellent 3D performance
Peak brightness was weak
A lot of artifacting in some circumstances
Introduction
The Panasonic Viera TC-P55VT30 is the creme de la creme of Panasonic’s 2011 line. If there’s a feature Panasonic wants to promote this year, it’s here: 3D display (glasses included), streaming content, WiFi, improved performance in most areas, and perhaps the best looking TV they’ve ever made.
Editorial Note: This is a review of the Panasonic Viera TC-P55VT30. Test results are for this model, but should indicate the general performance of other sizes in the TC-PxxVT30 series. The TC-PxxVT30 series includes the following models: TC-P55VT30 and TC-P65VT30. Read here for more details on series differences.
