Panasonic Viera TC-P54Z1 Plasma HDTV First Impressions Review - Intro

The TC-P54Z1 is a 54-inch plasma TV that's an inch thick and almost completely wireless. The only wire that will extend from the TV is its power cord. Every other input is handled via a separate box that the TV connects to wirelessly. The small size and near-wirelessness make this TV ideal for mounting on a wall. On top of that, the Z1 appears to have great video quality as well. This is definitely a TV we want to get into our labs for testing, but based on our observations from the show floor, we're cautiously optimistic about the TC-P54Z1.
