September 03, 2008Panasonic sets pricing on PZ850 series
Panasonic's internet-capable, high-definition plasmas will be welcoming in two larger siblings later this month: the 58-inch class, and the TH-65PZ850 class, which is 64.7 inches. These TVs will have all the same feature as their smaller counterparts, which include a native resolution contrast ratio of 30,000:1, a dynamic ratio of 1,000,000:1, color re-mastering, 24p native reproduction, game mode, and an SD memory Card slot, 4 HDMI slots, and a PC port, among other things. Of course, they all use IPTV to connect to the internet as well. The 64.7-inch TV, the TH-65PZ850, will cost a steep $7,000, while the 58-inch model will cost a mere $4,000. Panasonic would like to remind you that although these prices may seem high, the internet is priceless.
