Conclusion

Samsung LN40B530

Editorial Note: This is a review of the Samsung LN40B530. Test results are for this model, but should indicate the general performance of other sizes in the LNxxB530 series. The LNxxB530 series includes the following models: LN32B530, LN37B530, LN40B530, LN46B530, and LN52B530.  Read here for more details on series differences. The Samsung is a great, simple television. It performed well on almost every test, but was lacking in special features. If you're a gadget geek, lusting after faster processing or high-end multimedia interfaces, you'll want to look elsewhere. Samsung's A760 series of plasmas and B650 series of LCDs both have online connectivity and USB ports for media playback. Sony's Bravia line-up, which includes the W5100 series, has similar functionality with a much wider array of online content.
