Conclusion

Samsung PN50B430

The PN50B430 is an entry-level plasma with a 50-inch screen and a native resolution of 720p.

While the
PN50B430 didn't wow us with the majority of its test results, we were surprised to see its black level wasn't  particularly deep. Typically this is one area that plasmas excel.

The PN50B420 is best viewed as a budget option for its size. It doesn't have the quality or extra features of a higher-end set, but it does have a large screen for its price.
