Great black and white performance

Introduction
The Samsung PN51D450 ($799 MSRP) has an inappropriately low resolution of 720p for a 51-inch TV, and it lacks much else to make up for this shortcoming. In short: it’s a dinosaur in the modern age. In spite of this, the TV’s performance wasn’t the worst we’ve seen, but it certainly doesn’t do too much to justify its pricetag. If you’re looking for picture quality, this isn’t the buy for you.
