Introduction
Editorial Note: This is a review of the Samsung UN46B7100. Test results are for this model, but should indicate the general performance of other sizes in the Samsung 7 series. The Samsung 7 series also includes the UN40B7000 and the UN55B7000.  Read here for more details on series differences.
The UN46B7100 is part of Samsung's line of internet-capable LED backlit LCD HDTVs. The TV runs 1080p and is a mere 1.2 inches thick. The TV can also access a decent amount of online content, most notably Yahoo! offerings such as Flickr. The TV also has a 120Hz cherry on top.

The main sticking point is the TV's price, however, which is a staggering $2,800.

Section The Good The Bad
Tour & Design   Attractive design, 1.2-inches thin.  No paper manual included.
Blacks & Whites  Excellent contrast ratio, deep blacks.   Dynamic backlight can't be turned off.
Color Accuracy  Solid color temperature and accurate colors.   Innacurate color gamut.
Motion 120Hz mode helps with motion blur. No real problems with artifacting.
Viewing Effects Nothing. Very reflective, has a poor viewing angle.
Remote Control Large buttons, good labeling, backlight. Form factor is sometimes awkward to hold
Connectivity 4 HDMI ports, LAN for internet connectivity. Shared component/composite ports.
Audio & Menus Interface is simple and easy to use. Audio isn't great, menu lags at times.
Formats & Media Music, photo, and video playback from a USB or LAN connection. Nothing.
Power Consumption Very low power consumption. Nothing.
