Conclusion

Samsung UN46B7100

Editorial Note: This is a review of the Samsung UN46B7100. Test results are for this model, but should indicate the general performance of other sizes in the Samsung 7 series. The Samsung 7 series also includes the UN40B7000 and the UN55B7000.  Read here for more details on series differences. The Samsung UN46B7100 is a great little TV. It's thin, looks amazing, has some great picture quality, and can access a good selection of online content. The main sticking factor here is its price. At $2800, it's almost prohibitively expensive. While the online content is definitely great, we're not sure it fully closes the price gap we're seeing here.

If you're looking for a less expensive TV without the online features, the Vizio SV470XVT is a good bet. If you really like online content. Sony has a few options that blow Samsung's online offerings out of the water.
