Introduction
Introduction |
||||
The UN46B6000 is part of Samsung's entry-level line of LED backlit televisions. entry-level is a relative matter however, as this 46-inc LCD television has a suggested retail price of $2,800, although you can find it for around $2,100. Thankfully the UN46B6000 packs some high-end features to go along with that price tag, including internet connectivity via a LAN port, media playback from your network and USB devices and 120Hz refresh rate. |

| Section | The Good | The Bad |
| Tour & Design | Attractive design, 1-inch thin. | No paper manual included. |
| Blacks & Whites | Excellent contrast ratio, deep blacks. | Dynamic backlight can't be turned off. |
| Color Accuracy | Solid color temperature and accurate colors. | Innacuracies in the color gamut. |
| Motion | Good reduction of motion blur. | Significant artifacts with moving objects. |
| Viewing Effects | Not Much. | Poor viewing angle, very reflective display. |
| Remote Control | Big, well labeled buttons. | Strange 'wing' makes it awkward to hold. |
| Audio | Not Much. | Below average audio quality. |
| Connectivity | 4 HDMI ports, LAN for network and internet connectivity. | Only 1 dual Component/Composite port. |
| Menus & Interface | Simple easy to use interface. | Can be slightly laggy. |
| Formats & Media | Music, photo and video playback from USB or LAN. | Limited streaming internet options. |
| Power Consumption | Very low power consumption. | Not much. |

Samsung UN32D5500 LED LCD HDTV Review
The D5500 has a rather high MSRP of $699, considering it’s only a 32-inch TV. There are some “premiums upgrades,” a term we use with some dubiousness, knowing that these features can be far less valuable than they appear. Nevertheless, at its core this is a good television. If you can find it a significantly reduced price it would make a great addition to a home theater. Read More...
