Value Comparison
The Sony KDL-46HX729 has an MSRP of almost $500 more than that of the Samsung UN46D6000, and indeed, this is one of those situations in which you get what you pay for. The more expensive Sony has better contrast and better color accuracy, so if those things matter to you in a TV (which they should), you’re better off splurging for the better display.
