The Sharp Aquos LC-46D64U supports all modern formats from 1080p to 480i. It also supports a wider color gamut and a cinema mode to help make your experience feel a bit more like the theater. It doesn't support playback of other media formats like Mp3 music, Mpeg-4 video or Jpeg photos.
The Sharp Aquos LC-46D64U supports all modern formats including 1080p, 1080i, 720p, 480p and 480i content. This means you shouldn't have any problems playing even the highest quality HD content on the TV. It als supports 3:2 pulldown and 24p, which are used to ensure that media formatted to look like film are rendered correctly. Finally, it supports the new xvYCC color space, which allows the TV to display a wider range of colors than those that lack this technology.
