Sharp Aquos LC-52XS1U-S LCD HDTV First Impressions Review - Intro

The LC-52XS1U-S is a 54-inch LCD that most people will never be able to afford. The TV is priced at $12,000, which means that, as great as it is, there's really no way it could be adopted by mainstream purchasers. Chances are there's also a few TVs out there that perform just as well, but don't cost as much as a slightly-used car.  The LC-52XS1U-S runs AQUOS Net, which gives it a few internet features. All in all, the LC-52XS1U-S makes us wish we were rich or that Sharp wasn't so optimistic with their pricing.
