| Introduction |
The Sony Bravia KDL-52V5100 is one of their newest LCD televisions. At 52-inches in size and costing $2,299 it won't be an impulse purchase for anyone, but if you're looking for a large HDTV you could do a lot worse than the KDL-52V5100. That's not to say it doesn't have its drawbacks, the price is at the higher-end of the scale and we found some performance problems. Read the review to find out exactly what we think of the Sony Bravia KDL-52V5100. |

Decent motion smoothness. |
Significant problems with artifacts and 3:2 pulldown. |

Could use better on-screen help to explain some menu items. |

Full 1080p resolution. |
Photo and music playback is poorly designed. |
| Power Consumption |
Not much. |
Below average annual power costs. |
