Introduction

What we have here is Sony’s budget buy for 2011. This model has been stripped of advanced features like internet and 3D, the focus of this year’s TV technology, so you can add a secondary television to your home for a reduced price. The Sony Bravia KDL-32BX320 ($400 MSRP) gives an all-around decent performance for an entry-level set, showing some difficulties with motion processing and a less than ideal contrast ratio. Throughout the review, we compare this model to three other inexpensive models by top brands to see which is really worth your conspicuous consumption.

Editorial Note: This is a review of the Sony Bravia KDL-32BX320. Test results are for this model, but should indicate the general performance of other sizes in the KDL-xxBX320 series. The KDL-xxBX320 series includes the following models: KDL-22BX320 and KDL-32BX320. Read here for more details on series differences.
