Sony Bravia KDL-52VE5 LCD HDTV First Impressions Review - Intro

The Sony Bravia KDL-52VE5 is the largest unit in its new Eco line of LCD HDTVs that offers specific design features to lower power consumption. This model has a 52" LCD flat screen with a more power-efficient backlight and a presence sensor that will turn the unit off when no motion is detected in the room after a pre-determined period of time. It also has a zero-watt standy power switch to ensure no power is consumed while the unit is off. Pricing for the KDL-52VE5 has not yet been announced.
