The XBR-HX900 series is one of the premium series in Sony's 2010 lineup. The prototype we looked at, the XBR-52HX900, had a Full HD panel with 240Hz Motionflow Pro processing and an LED backlight capable of local dimming. The TV also supports internet widgets and can stream content from providers such as Netflix and Amazon Video. The model is also 3D ready, which means it is able to display 3D HDTV signals from 3D-compatible Blu-ray players with the addition of optional 3D glasses and a transmitter. Pricing of this new HDTV has not yet been announced, but it should be available in the summer.
