Introduction
The Sony KDL-46BX420 ($899 MSRP) is a decent budget buy that crams more picture performance in its 46-inch LCD screen than many others do in higher-priced models. You will sacrifice a bit in the way of connectivity options, but overall this TV is not a bad entry-level buy, as it will give you more bang for your buck in terms of raw performance than some of its competitors at this price.
Editorial Note: This is a review of the Sony Bravia KDL-46BX420. Test results are for this model, but should indicate the general performance of other sizes in the KDL-xxBX420 series. The KDL-xxBX420 series includes the following models: KDL-32BX420, KDL-40BX420 and KDL-46BX420. Read here for more details on series differences.
