Calibration
To ensure all our TVs are operating at their peak performance, we first calibrate them, using a CS-200 ChromaMeter and DisplayMate, which is a professional display calibration suite.

All of our calibration is done in conjunction with the DisplayMate software.
Video Modes (3.00)
No new modes have been added to the 2010 models, it seems: we still saw Vivid, Custom, Standard, and Cinema modes, with no new additions. Below are descriptions of what each of these do.

| Standard | For standard picture settings. Recommended for home entertainment. |

Samsung UN32D5500 LED LCD HDTV Review
The D5500 has a rather high MSRP of $699, considering it’s only a 32-inch TV. There are some “premiums upgrades,” a term we use with some dubiousness, knowing that these features can be far less valuable than they appear. Nevertheless, at its core this is a good television.
