Introduction
The Sony NSX-32GT1 is the first TV to feature software designed by Google. While the TV is definitely the best we’ve seen at surfing the internet—and we’re talking the actual internet here, not a few links to a handful of pre-approved content providers—we thought the interface itself was strangely inconsistent. The TV is great overall, but it definitely has the quirks of a first-generation product.
Editorial Note: This is a review of the Sony NSX-32GT1 Google TV. Test results are for this model, but should indicate the general performance of other sizes in the GT1 series. The GT1 series includes the following models: NSX-24GT1 Google TV, NSX-32GT1 Google TV, NSX-40GT1 Google TV and NSX-46GT1 Google TV. Read here for more details on series differences.
