Tour & DesignIntroduction
Although many companies have shown prototypes of HDTVs built with OLED (Organic Light Emitting Diode) displays, Sony is the only one to be actually selling one. The XEL-1 is their only OLED model, and it sells for a rather hefty price of $2499. That's especially high when you consider that the display itself is only 11 inches across the diagonal, and that it runs at a resolution of just 960 by 540 pixels. This first impressions review is based on our experiences with this TV at the CES show in Las Vegas.

Samsung UN32D5500 LED LCD HDTV Review
The D5500 has a rather high MSRP of $699, considering it’s only a 32-inch TV. There are some “premiums upgrades,” a term we use with some dubiousness, knowing that these features can be far less valuable than they appear. Nevertheless, at its core this is a good television.
