Conclusion

Toshiba 46RV525R

Editorial Note: This is a review of the Toshiba 46RV525R. Test results are for this model, but should indicate the general performance of other sizes in the RV525R series. The RV525R series includes the following models: 32RV525R, 37RV525R, and 40RV525R.  Read here for more details on series differences. The Toshiba 46RV525R is a solidly average set, and we don't mean that in a bad way. At this price we don't expect to see high-end internet and media features, or mind-blowing picture quality. The best part of this TV, is its price has dropped significantly from its MSRP of $1200. You could easily find this TV for under $1000, which should make it very hard to turn down.

If you want a 46-inch TV that's solid, and don't mind if it's not perfect, the
46RV525R is a great value for $800.
