Introduction
The Toshiba 32SL400U ($699 MSRP) is limited to a 720p resolution and falls shorts of the connectivity options necessary to make it a viable choice for a home theater. Sure, this LED-backlit LCD TV has some bright spots, but there are too many shortcomings, and too much competition, to make this a winner.
Editorial Note: This is a review of the Toshiba 32SL400U. Test results are for this model, but should indicate the general performance of other sizes in the xxSL400U series. The xxSL400U series includes the following models: 19SL400U, 22SL400U, 26SL400U and 32SL400U. Read here for more details on series differences.
