Conclusion
Editorial Note: This is a review of the Toshiba 46SV670U. Test results are for this model, but should indicate the general performance of other sizes in the Regza SV670U series. The Regza SV670U series includes the following models: 55SV670U.  Read here for more details on series differences.
The Toshiba 46SV670U is a safe bet for its price and class range. It held up admirably, though didn't trump its competition. The Toshiba only fell apart on one test, color temperature consistency. The motion smoothness was less than ideal, but not the worst we've seen. In most other regards, we can safely call it "satisfactory."

The Toshiba 46SV670U is a power hog, burning about twice as much power as the comparison TVs. That's a point against it, but not a crucial one. Overall rating: pretty good.
