Introduction
The VIZIO E470VLE ($620 MSRP) is a larger, no-nonsense, entry-level television. You won’t find any internet features or 3D imaging on this set, which may be exactly what you are after if simplicity is your goal. For the price, you get a decent all-around performance that is comparable to higher-end models, but watch out for the dark end of the spectrum. This VIZIO shows a couple of problems at lower luminances that compound to diminish detail in darker scenes.
