Calibration
To calibrate the Vizio VW32L, we started by putting the TV in Movie mode. Note to new TV owners: TVs frequently have a Movie mode and they’re usually the most accurate out-of-the-box setting. Below is a list of the settings and the changes we made to get the best possible image.

All of our calibration is done in conjunction with the DisplayMate software.
Video Modes (5.00)
The Vizio VW32L has only three video modes, described below, as well as a Custom mode for your preferred settings.
| Mode | What it Does |
|---|---|
| Standard | For use in general environments. Color saturation is boosted. |
| Movie | For best performance for movie watching. A lot of the special processing is turned off. |
| Game | Contrast is enhanced. |

Samsung UN32D5500 LED LCD HDTV Review
The D5500 has a rather high MSRP of $699, considering it’s only a 32-inch TV. There are some “premiums upgrades,” a term we use with some dubiousness, knowing that these features can be far less valuable than they appear. Nevertheless, at its core this is a good television.
